Your music, from your own server
Obi is a music player for the library you host yourself. It works with Plex, Navidrome and Jellyfin, and keeps a copy of your library on the phone, so browsing and search work offline.
What it does
- Plays from Plex, Navidrome (and other servers with the Subsonic API) and Jellyfin, several servers at once in one library.
- Keeps your artists, albums, tracks and playlists on the device, so lists open at once and work without a connection.
- Downloads music to the phone, on Wi-Fi only if you like.
- Favourites and star ratings, playlists and smart playlists, lyrics from your server, a sleep timer and a MilkDrop visualiser.
- Internet radio, with the song that is playing and its cover where the station tells it.
- Optional ListenBrainz: send what you play, and see its recommendations next to your own music.
Private by design
There is no account with Obi, no advertising and no analytics. The addresses of your servers and your sign-ins stay on your device. Obi has no server of its own to send your listening to. What does leave the device, and why, is written out in the privacy policy.
